People in Ontario are practicing social distance right now.  There are Virtual Tours and Virtual Open Houses that are online and we can discuss together on the phone or via Zoom or Skype.  Once you are interested in a property we can see the home in person however, you and I will have to declare that we have not been outside the country in the last 14 days, do not show any symptoms of the virus and have not been in contact with anyone who has/had the virus.

There are other guidelines to follow such as wearing a mask, gloves, a distance of 6 feet between you and me and no touching of household items unless these are wiped down with Sanitary Wipes, or other cleaners upon leaving the premises. These items include and are no limited to door handles, doors, railings, fridge, stove, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.

Something to also consider is that temporary closures are affecting other key parts of the real estate transaction, such as appraisals, moving companies, inspections, closing and title services.  Mortgage services and moving companies are essential services but be aware that all services may take longer than normal.
